About Us

United Power Services, Inc. has been helping organizations understand the condition of their electrical systems since it was established in 1981. Our core mission is to provide clients with the information they need to make educated decisions about maintaining and protecting critical equipment.

With decades of combined experience in the industry, our leadership brings deep technical knowledge and practical insight to every engagement. That experience shows up in the way we evaluate data, interpret results, and communicate findings in a way that helps operations and maintenance teams take decisive action.

OUR APPROACH

We believe that accurate information is the foundation of reliable electrical systems. Every analysis we provide is rooted in proven methods, recognized standards, and clear interpretation rather than opaque numbers.

Our services are designed to support preventive maintenance, reliability planning, safety programs, and compliance efforts. Whether we are performing fluid analysis, infrared surveys, or arc flash studies, the goal is always the same: give clients clarity about equipment condition and help them manage risk effectively.

EXPERTISE YOU CAN TRUST

Our leadership and technical staff stand out for their credentials and involvement in industry best practices:

Our Vice President and Lab Manager serves as Chair of ASTM Committee D27 on Electrical Insulating Liquids and Gases and the ASTM proficiency test program for fluid quality and gas analysis. This role reflects deep technical credibility and helps ensure our work aligns with the latest industry understanding.

Our infrared survey team is led by experienced personnel who oversee extensive field inspection programs, and our thermographers hold Advanced Level II certification.

Arc flash assessments and electrical safety training programs are performed under engineering guidance to support compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.

Today, United Power Services is trusted to test more than 100,000 fluid samples annually and perform thousands of inspections and evaluations across a wide range of industrial and utility environments.
